Gemma & Johnny At Dimple Well Lodge Hotel

These guys booked me ages ago!!! In between booking and the day itself they actually added to their family!!!

Dimple Well Lodge is an award winning venue based in Ossett. It is a large victorian house with beautiful gardens which provide the photo opportunities. Marcus and his team really do go above and beyond for their wedding parties

Gemma’s wedding dress was from Celebrations Bridal House in Ossett. She chose to get ready at home which is where I started the photos.

Her beautiful veil was hand-crafted by Lisa Carrington Couture Gowns and Veils – a true masterpiece and one of the best looking veils I have ever seen.

The suits were navy slim fit with ivory waistcoats and dusky pink cravat from Greenwood’s in Wakefield. They all wore brown shoes but bought them themselves from varying suppliers.

The venue was Dimple Well Lodge in Ossett and Gemma and Johnny had their ceremony and reception there. Gemma had done a lot of the wedding planning herself, making her own seating plan and also the invites amongst many other things.

A Dimple Well Lodge wedding is a pleasure to photograph. When the garden is in full bloom, images look fantastic. And the great thing for the Brides and Grooms- the bar isn’t far away at all from where photos are taken!! Its a real honour to be there recommended photographer for all the events that happen there. The venue won Yorkshire Wedding Venue of the Year in 2017, and its apparent why. The venue is immaculately kept, and all the staff have one focus- make sure that everyone has the best day ever. Marcus and his team at Dimple Well Lodge certainly achieve this

Gemma and Johnny had some singers for the evening entertainment called Tre Amici who sang the first dance which was “Jason Mraz, I won’t give up.” (They went to song at Buckingham Palace 2 days later!!) Johnny even got up with them and belted a number out. Unfortunately, he didn’t perform with them at the palace

A totally amazing day!!

The colours were dusky pink with ivory and lace, tried to keep it rustic.
