Where to start…..let’s start with wow!

We booked Matt a good 12 months in advance for our wedding at Peckforton Castle on 10.02.2024. We had seen his portfolio of work and were absolutely blown away. It was then we knew that we had to secure Matt for our big day. The whole booking process was really straightforward and very professional, it really couldn’t be any easier to book Matt.

Closer to our big day, we had a call to run through all the logistics and discuss some finer details. This was our first time speaking to Matt; although he was totally available for us to speak with him before this and ask any questions. We did try to speak with Matt at a Wedding Fair but he was surrounded by a crowd of people which speaks volumes about his popularity. We come away from our call feeling very excited with a lot of our questions and uncertainties about the day answered. Matt had a great way of just making us feel very at ease and this carried through to the big day. He is so personable with a great energy.

The quality of our photos; of which there are hundreds, are exceptional and they tell the story of our day beautifully. Matt is an incredibly talented photographer with an amazing eye for detail. He has a great way of just blending in and a lot of the times we didn’t even know he was there!

Our families and friends have commented on just how nice Matt is and how well he executed all photography for the day.

Thanks for all the support and reassurance on the day Matt. It was an absolute pleasure having you be part of our day mate and we couldn’t be happier with everything you’ve done for us.

What can we say to describe our experience with Matt? From the moment we booked him the communication was amazing, he made us feel at ease and was confident in his work. As soon as we spoke with Matt, we knew he understood us as individuals and as a couple and shared our sense of humour! Our photos have turned out beautifully despite the rain on our special day, Matt went the extra mile to put everyone at ease and put himself in some awkward poses to get the best photos for us! We cannot recommend Matt enough to any couple who wants a chilled wedding day!

We met Matt at a wedding fair and were instantly drawn to his warm, friendly nature. From the moment we introduced ourselves, he was fantastic with our daughter, which immediately put us at ease. From that first interaction, we knew we’d found the right person to capture our wedding day.

When it came to discussing our plans, Matt was incredibly professional and attentive to every detail. He listened carefully to what we envisioned and offered insightful suggestions to help make the day flow perfectly. In the lead-up to the wedding, Matt was always available to answer questions and provide guidance, which gave us so much confidence in his abilities. On the big day itself, he managed everything with such calm efficiency that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. His presence was reassuring and made the day feel effortless.

Matt’s photography speaks for itself—the photos he took are simply stunning. They capture the joy, emotion, and special moments of our day in a way that brings us right back to that incredible time. We know these images will be treasured for a lifetime, and we can’t thank him enough for that.

What really sets Matt apart, though, is his genuine kindness and thoughtfulness. He did everything to make sure I felt relaxed on the morning of the wedding, even going out of his way to help with little details that weren’t his responsibility. His ability to make us laugh and feel comfortable in front of the camera made the experience even more enjoyable. He truly went above and beyond, not just as our photographer, but as someone who genuinely cared about making our day special.

Matt is a lovely, genuine person, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with him. If you’re looking for a photographer who will not only deliver breathtaking photos but also make your day smoother and more enjoyable, look no further. Matt is an absolutely amazing photographer! He was a dream to work with on our special day. Matt is super relaxed and fun, really putting us at ease. He captured an amazing variety of shots, formal, posed, candid, natural, all while making us feel like we were barely having photos taken at all, but just having fun. Matt worked with our difficult family members, kids, and horses (!!) and accommodated all our special requests no problem. Our photos are absolutely stunning and tell the story of our day perfectly - I can't stop looking at them! Matt has been great to communicate with, before and after the day, always getting back to us quickly and helpfully. He also had a really quick turn around for our gallery. There is a reason Matt has won so many awards, we couldn't recommend Matt more highly!
