Alysha & Adam at Peckforton Castle

Alysha and Adam booked me for their Peckforton Castle Wedding Photographer after seeing a photo of mine on Instagram!! They found both my website too and after reading my reviews on my FB page we were booked in!!! In their words- ‘We were over the moon to find a reasonably priced photographer who’s photos are as good if not better than those who charge double’ Obviously that made my head slightly larger, and they also said that they love that I am down to earth and have great fun whilst I work.

Peckforton Castle is a medieval castle which was built in 1851, but took 9 years to build!! With the castle itself and the surrounding woodland, Peckforton Castle offers a fantastic backdrop for wedding photos.

I have photographed a few weddings now at Peckforton Castle, and the Peckforton Castle website features a few of my images.

The day itself was absolutely scorching. Probably the hottest day of the year! Alysha and Adam booked a second photographer who capture groom prep, guest arrival and set the scene for the ceremony. The great hall was dressed up exquisitely by Ian Lloyd!

I concentrated on bridal preparation, Alysha and the girls were extremely calm and we had time to sit and giggle to watch a bit of This Morning.

I love the walk from bridal prep to the great hall at Peckforton Castle. After the ceremony it was outside of course for the formal photos and natural photos of their guests having fun.

The speeches were a great laugh, but also an extremely emotional part. Not a dry eye on the house, including mine!!

We then used both inside and outside the castle for their photos and they got a great story of their day in their photographs with some big wow images to compliment.

We love shooting at Peckforton Castle, not only because of the castle itself, but the staff are fantastic and a pleasure to work alongside. We will be back again soon as we have further Peckforton Castle wedding in the diary.
