Joanna & Graham at Dimple Well Lodge Hotel

Joanna is a teacher at my daughters school in Ossett, and she also knew me through her daughter Holly who worked at Dimple Well Lodge as part of the wedding team. Now when they asked me to be their wedding photographer, I simply had to say yes! 2 reasons, it was going to be such a fun relaxed wedding, and secondly, I could use some of the out takes as leverage for getting my daughter the Mary Role in this years nativity!!

Dimple Well lodge was their chosen venue. Dimple Well Lodge is a Victorian House that was a managers house to the local factories, then was a family home before becoming a guest house. In 2009 the Hotel was saved from development and re-opened as a hotel, keeping its homely feel.

Dimple Well Lodge was victorious as the Best Wedding Venue 2017 for the I DO Bridal Magazine. An amazing achievement considering most venues enter this category.

The ceremony was unique to me. Joanna simply bounced down the aisle, with a huge smile on her face, not an ounce of nerves!! All the way through the ceremony planting kisses on Grahame, fist pumps from Grahame when they were announced as Husband and Wife. After the ceremony, we grabbed all the formal photos and bride and groom photos in the beautiful garden at Dimple Well Lodge.

It was an honour to be there, and we captured a fantastic set of images. Lots of fun and laughter, and when my daughter saw the pics she was amazed that Mrs Harrop had turned into a Princess!!!

I am the recommended photographer for weddings at Dimple Well Lodge. I experience in shooting a lot of weddings their which means I know all the best places for images and the unique angles. I am also aware of the local area to Dimple Well Lodge so for those wanting to have photos off site, I know all the best places to go.
