Laura and Steve booked me ages ago!!! And that was on the recommendation of Michelle who is the wedding planner at The Holmfield Arms in Wakefield.
I have photographed a few times at The Holmfield and Michelle does recommend me to those brides and groom who are looking for a laid back photographer who creates high impact images.
The Holmfield, near Wakefield is a marquee venue which is unique for Wakefield. Theres grounds around the venue for guests to enjoy and also for me to take the brides and grooms for their photographs.
The day itself was a hot one!!! We started with bridal preparations at Lauras house in Wakefield. All the girls remaining calm and went for a cruise in the Limo for an hour before arriving at The Holmfield. Whilst they cruised I headed to The Holmfield and met up with the boys who had arrived in an Only Fools and Horses 3 wheeler!! It had me in stitches and we created some fun shots!
After the I Do’s we headed outside for group photos, and once again choosing to photograph bride and groom after the wedding breakfast for the better conditions. Speeches were good fun with also some emotion thrown in. Perfect recipe for speeches I would say!
Bride and groom portraits were done on the surrounding parkland and at one point doing something different by using the traffic and local bike riders to add to the images.
We had another amazing day at The Holmfield and look forward to being back there in September
