Not only did we capture their day at Ripley Castle, but also a pre-shoot at Fewston Reservoir and also their Hindu Ceremony in Leeds.
Ripley Castle in Harrogate has a history of political, military, religious and social turbulence, of plague and persecution, of renaissance, enlightenment and industrial revolution. It is a tale of romance, courage, loyalty and recklessness.
With not only the castle itself to work with, it is surrounded by beautiful grounds and a very large lake. The mixture of cultures at this wedding was a pleasure to photograph.
Sparsh and Andrew met me at a wedding exhibition at another venue. In their words, they had to have me as their Yorkshire Wedding Photographer. They loved my work, and also a major factor was that they felt really comfortable with me. They even changed dates and venues around my availability in order that I could be the one to capture their day! How cool is that!!!
