This year I had the pleasure of photographing a lovely wedding at Sneaton Castle Wedding venue near Whitby
Sneaton Castle is a relatively new wedding venue and it yielded beautiful wedding photographs
Family owned Sneaton Castle has the perfect blend of rustic modernity, it has 14 bedrooms, ranging from Cosy doubles to individually characteristic Castle Suites, all immaculately presented and luxuriously comfortable. The bedroom prices are based upon 2 adults sharing and include a delicious Yorkshire breakfast in our Garden Room Bistro. The Bistro is open daily serving fresh local produce and the accompanying Tractor bar is perfect for that morning coffee or early evening cocktail. Just a short car ride or 40 minute stroll to the centre of town, Sneaton Castle is the perfect spot to enjoy a stay in the popular seaside town of Whitby.
Sneaton castle has immaculately manicured gardens, a fresh extensive outside terrace area with unrivalled views of the Esk valley. We have a small collection of animals that live at the castle from sheep & cows to goats and alpacas, which visitors love to see whether they are staying or just dining.
Sneaton Castle is a wedding and event venue, from intimate to lavish weddings, corporate meetings, birthdays, christenings and anniversaries, we can cater for all of your celebrations.
The ceremony takes place in the chapel within the castle itself. A large, airy building with a lovely painted dome within. Wedding photographers have the choice of shooting of course from the front, up on the balcony at the back for the big wide photographs or of course at the back at floor level. Either way, the beautiful backdrop creates amazing wedding photographs
Drinks reception will follow in the beautiful gardens of Sneaton Castle. Here is where all your guests will enjoy themselves with a drink or two and also where wedding group photographs will be taken. Its an ideal spot really. Offering shade on those hot bright days and also a choice of location depending on light and weather
Wedding breakfast and speeches at Sneaton Castle take place in an old barn style area. Lovely rustic feel for you and your guests
