Andy and Debi booked me to be there wedding photographer at Hazlewood Castle last year. They met me at the I DO Magazine wedding exhibition at Elland Road. We hit it off straight away, and no sooner had I walked in my house after the show, they were in the diary!!
Hazlewood Castle is steeped in history and is a premiere wedding venue in the North of England. Hazlewood Castle was built in the 13th Century, and Hazlewood castle was transformed into a mansion in the 18th century. I have photographed at Hazlewood Castle a few times now, and its a fantastic wedding venue to hold your wedding.
Hazlewood Castle offers great outdoor photo opportunities, but should the weather be inclement, inside the castle is also fantastic for photographs.
Mark Waddington was there too, in my opinion one of the best close up magicians around. And he’s such a funny laid back chap which really adds to his show.
The day itself was absolutely sweltering!!!! Big thanks to the best man who kept me hydrated whilst I was working. Debi and Andy actually get married in a small intimate ceremony in the castle, and then headed to the chapel within the grounds of Hazlewood Castle where all their guests were waiting for them. I must also mention the vicar at the chapel. What a fantastic guy, makes the service great fun for everyone, and what is rare, gives the photographer ample opportunity to grab those memories for the couple.
We had an awesome day with all the wedding party!!!! An absolute pleasure
