Santorini is a special place for me and my family. Not only were we married on Santorini, but we have also been to Santorini for family holidays and I have photographed beautiful weddings out there.
Its safe to say, I know the island pretty well. From Oia to Akrotiri, and Perissa to Kamari, I know some pretty good spots for photographs!
Many people often try and fail to grab a photo of the iconic postcard perfect Blue Domes of Santorini. On my last trip, I made sure I found the ones I wanted to get. It involved a lot of walking, and investigating, but now I know they are pretty easy to find!!
One for example, is a simple left turn in the town of Oia, another is in Fira, another in Firostefani, literally over a wall, the other around the back of Skaros Rock. Anyway, here are my views of the famous blue domes of Santorini. My children were young at the time, so unfortunately couldn’t photograph them when I wanted- when the sun was less fierce or on a slightly overcast day. We had planned a trip on that day and my then 5 year old wouldn’t have been happy at all had we not gone to the Perissa waterpark.
If anyone would like to know how to find the photo locations, please feel free to comment below.
